Investment in R&D
CSL is investing in the development of new protein-based medicines for treating serious human diseases. We provide funding for short-, medium-, and long-term growth returns. In 2006/07, we invested over AUD$190m into our R&D programs. In 2007/08, R&D investments will increase by an additional 10-15%.
We are committed to maintaining and improving our current products, while we continue to allocate additional funds to biotechnology projects, particularly for recombinant protein therapies.
